Will that result in the junction of Lionel Road South being either closed to motors or signalised? Those are the only two things I can think of that would remove the increased risk created by installation of the cycle track.

Maybe there is increased danger there but it makes no sense to oppose the scheme as a whole when a better proposal us build the tracks and then upgrade it .

I doubt it will be closed... for next few years there may be more construction vehicles, So not good news. let's hope it eventually gets lights. But it's not going to be soon.
