Chain Reaction have Manitou Mattoc Pro 27.5" forks with the schweet black stanchions for £350 at the mo. That's £315 with British Cycling discount. Absurd bargains.
Completely unrelated, because obviously I have self control and didn't buy one, are there any great deals on 650b rims/wheelsets out there currently?
And does anyone want to buy a Rockshox Lyrik RC2L U-Turn 26" coil fork?

They look great. Will they take a + tyre?

From a quick search, they'll (anecdotally) take a 2.6" Minion and a 2.8" Rocket Ron, so kinda? Not that I'll ever find out personally, I still think 2.35" is borderline too big. I think I read the newer Boost chassis has much moar clearance

Love this

Out with the old (massive, coil-sprung freeride fork), in with the new (svelte, stealth, modern air goodniss). Now where did I put my 15mm adapters...?

Looks great. Like how you installed the new forks but didn't bother to brush off the dried caked on mud from the downtube. Commitment to the dirty mtn bike cause.

I'm selling my RockShox Recon Gold RL 29er forks for £150 if anyone is interested? Freshly serviced and ready to roll

cleanliness is next to roadiedouchbageriness.
Also "installed" seems quite a generous description

Don't worry neither did I :)

Any interest in a 26" MTB wheelset?
Hope Pro 2 Evo / Stan's Arch EX. 135x10 mm bolt up or 142x12 through rear, 9 mm QR or 20 mm through front. Stan's Tape, tubeless valves, and Bontrager Team Issue XR2 and XR4 tyres.
Bad points - front left bearing's a bit rough, black spokes front and silver rear, and the rear is built with the valve between convergent spokes, not divergent. So, £160?
