Designed for 109mm iso. Campag centaur 111mm is probably the cheapest option and gives a reasonable chainline.

I think I have a Token 109mm ISO in the bin. Cheers!

Anyone knows if it's possible to fit 650b wheels(38~42 tyres) on a kaffenback?
-
• #6880
I've got 650b x 42 on a pompetamine so I reckon your chances are good.
-

On current kaff, 38 should be ok, 42mm was too close to be ridable. On previous version (the one sharing the pompet' wishbone), 42mm+ is ok.

I am almost decided on buying Pompino, have started planning parts to buy and have to dilemmas:
1) tyres&mudguards - I plan to use 45 mm Bluemels, what is the max non-slick tyre size that will fit without rubbing the guard? 32 mm?
2) brakes - from what I read, mini-Vs are more reccommended for non-muddy use, but as mentioned above I want to run mudguards - can e.g. Tektro 926AL or other 80-85 mm arm ones fit over the mudguard? Or how the Tektro RL520+MTB Vs work on Pomp? -

Dunno about Bluemels, but I've had 35mm tyres plus GB guards on a V2(?) Pompino with mini vs.

I can run 32mm Paselas with P45 longboard mudguards, but without them I think 35mm would be the limit due to chainstay clearance.

I have that model and have 35mm Paselas on mine, doubt you'd get much bigger
-

Cheers for the answer! Will buy the 35mm paselas. :)

I have a few mates running them with no problems so I'll go that route. It's just a winter beater.

Does the Tektro RL520 levers works with BB7 Road mechanical disc calipers? It says it will pull more cable with Road BB7s than on the BB7 MTB ones. Will it be a pain?
Read again. It's the other way around. BB7 with RL520 grips. BB7R with RL520 doesn't. As per Bikeradar.
