Not as slick as I’d like. Tarmac riding only really

What bike are these for? That tread probably works well in the wet...or something. What the those tyres @umop3pisdn was harking on about a while back. Hyper somethings?

Voyager Hyper? They're very nice, but I don't think Vittoria make them any more.
EDIT: Planet X have the 35mm Voyager Hypers in black for 13 quid a pop. Bargain. Tempted, even though I have 3 already.

Annoying. Im also looking to replace my paselas with the 'moononastick' tyre every forumenger is after. Fast, light, slick, puncture proof and 32-35c.

I basically want a slick or nearly slick gravel tyre. But mostly for Instagram, I’ll ride on the road.
Gonna build an “adventure” arkose -

This is what i'm leaning towards at the moment. Heard their puncture proof isnt best though? Only thing i like about paselas is theyll probably never puncture or wear out

Another vaguely related comparison; I've got 32c Marathon Supreme that have just gone through 5,000 miles (and zero flats), including ~1,000 miles of fully loaded touring. The rear is noticeably more worn than the front but still far from being binned. Can only imagine the 35c are at least as hard wearing.

I've had 1 puncture in over a year which was a huge piece of glass, either I'm lucky or they have good puncture protection.

Thanks for the info

They sketchy in the wet?
-
• #5114
Yeah they're really good. Like a grippy Compass. Can be ghetto tubelessed apparently

Any punctures/mileage data?
-
• #5116
Looks like 32 a pop to me...link?
-
• #5117
Didn't do huge mileage on them before changing bike, but didn't get one in that time.

I haven’t had punctured on compass/grand Bois, inc touring and commuting.
TBF, I commute on GP4000sii also, could be how I ride.

Hybrid tyre thread up in here

Ghetto tubeless hybrid tyre.

you old ones going spare?
-
• #5123
GP4Ksiis do have shockingly good puncture protection. I was riding them on flinty gravel paths for months before I realised theyre a 210g race tyre. Never had a puncture and would buy in a heartbeat if they came in 32c

The 28s measure about 31

Indestructible 26” commuter tyre for winter that doesn’t look shit?
Already have big bens and kiniptions on hand as well as a pair of snow studs if it freezes. Are the big bens tough enough? The kiniptions roll great but would rather save them for touring rather than trash them over the winter.
Surly knards?
