Still, at least were not quite as fucked as Australia:

Really? Riding across two continents this year doesn't qualify me to buy a new groupset?

Obviously. :)
Still, I don't like being included in some kind of derogatory list because I work hard to pay for my bike part destroying habit. Certainly not from a Cervelo owner.

drilled my bars at the shifters 3 years ago. still going strong after loads of gravel roads.
and this guy needs better drill bits.

Are the cable holes for this on the underside of the bar? I've just had some arrive from sigma and they have no holes 😩
-
• #2718
I just returned a pair to sigma last week and they definitely had the hoLes - they the alloy ones?

Yep! Definitely the alloy ones. I think maybe the newer models have just a groove instead of holes... back to sigma they go!

SuperZero for definite - £65?? Wowzers! I’d better hope I never fuck these bars up!

i had the same. returned

@Dick - yep, definitely superzero alloys, so look after them! I checked in Condor earlier and they only had the ones with external routing. The Deda site says they're externally routed, so I guess they've updated the design now.
I'll have a shop around and post in here if I find somewhere which has the internal routed ones in stock, if you're still after some @LuigiDolomite

Does anyone know if (DA) satellite/sprint shifters can be plugged direct into the (5 port) junction box (and not, as per normal installs, into the ports in the levers).
Hoping to use the first gen sprint shifters as climbing shifters on the flats, tho it's easier routing if the wires go straight into the junction box...

r600 pave shifter is a standalone etube device (contains a micro and a CANBus transciever). As far as I know, the sprint shifters are just peripherals for the brifters and don't contain the necessary components to be standalone triggers.
