I am reluctant to use it too but you try it once and you realise that some people just have fuck all to contribute so it makes your forumenging experience better.
I imagine it's similar when you get old and choose to develop selective hearing or an intermittent bad back that means you don't have to talk to anyone you don't want to or do anything you don't want to do...
In 7 years on here I'd never once thought to use the 'ignore' function, but I get it now.
It's removed 236 posts from the last few months on this thread alone.
And not one amusing comment, picture or link.
