Not exactly encouraging anyone to build anything is it?

Landlord can't make money.. developer can't make money.

Investments are a risk, everyone can't always win. All I want to see is housing brought back in line with wages rises and unfortunately for that to happen there will be some losers. In the long term its way better for society.
For people who say it will never happen, look at Tokyo in the 80's.

Yep, that sounds about right to me... it's crazy that people can not afford a shitty 2 bed flat in East London these days without six figures from mum and dad/anyone anywhere else.

Maybe our values are not so far apart?
