Quite a reach for a Hiab and you might have a problem with access/room for the outriggers, if you're lifting from a residential street.
A spider crane would be a better bet on a tight plot.
This lot have a Hiab with a 10m reach, but 950kg limit.
And although it isn't listed for hire, they have a spider crane. Speak to Steve: if they're quiet, he'll hire it out. Say "hello" from Jim in Ipswich.
OT,
but I'm assuming more will read it here than any Gardening thread.
Anyone ever hired a Crane/Hiab truck?
May need to get three serious espaliers, (estimated 150kg for tree & rootball),
into a backgarden. Fence panel can be removed, estimated reach of maximum 10metres.
So anyone ever hired a crane/hiab truck?
Someone in the crane trade?
Family member or friend in the crane trade?
