I'm going up by train as well but will ask around see if any friends have one. I doubt it unfortunately as MTBs are still way more popular than road bikes up there.

Or strip the paint of and get forum colour cannondale decals to add less weight.

That would be ideal, and save about 200g. I just can’t get my head around paying either £400 or spending a week of sanding.

A friend from work just stripped his Caad12 - 300g of paint.

TBH stripping carbon is a fucking nightmare and I wouldn't bother. Do paint it though. 300g of extra weight is easily offset by having a rowdy bike.

I've got a basic Tacx/ skewer/ riser you're more than welcome to borrow if you need a lighter trainer - can leave down at Hex for you to pick up at leisure.

Ah thanks man. I’m just being fussy really. I have a normal turbo too, just been enjoying using @cjr ‘s Kickr the last few weeks.

@luft is off 25 mins before me so if we can synchronise our watches I should be able to warm up on his direct drive turbo. 20min warmup with 5 min changeover time.

Gonna have to spray paint it blue, white and black obvs.
