Not that I know of, I've got a couple of routes that I can probably dig out a GPX for. Starting in Maidenhead, the are calender events that Willesden put on you could use as DIY

Would be interested in the Maidenhead one :-)

Ah, you reminded me. I'd written some down for the missus:
10 Thames Bridges, Boulter's Bash and Riverside to Riverside, Cambridge Spring Dash -

Boulter's Bash and Riverside to Riverside are nice routes, if you can't find the gpx for them I can whip them off strava

Ta. Think I'll mostly be on the sauce this weekend but before it gets too miserable I reckon she'll come out for another ride.

• #6932
cheers, will look those up :-)

Going to try that one soon, hopefully weekend after next. Goring / Streatley Hill. Bit nervous of that. Couldn't get up in one go last time I rode that way embarrassed face and used to be able to manage it.

Some chat about it a week ago. I did the old one, but majority of the route is different

There's the Westerley one from this May, 100km from Ruislip

If anyone's smarting about the BCM selling out, looks like an old classic 400k has been resurrected for next June:
http://www.aukweb.net/events/detail/18-50/
Bwlch y Groes and the Trawsfynydd road (ouch) in the first half, and an old-style A road return overnight, with a catered control in the pleasant old Victorian town of Llangollen.

sigh Why is everything in June?

It's a great ride. The overnight bit back from Bangor along the A5 is ace.

Ooh. Very interesting.
I'm waiting for chequebook to arrive, then gonna do Hardboiled as a perm, because it don't work with my calendar.
Would be good to have an actually 400 as my 400 as opposed to my planned Dean + ECE home.

Of course if anyone's really desperate to ride on the A5 in a calendar event before June there's always this:

On the line entry only (at the Raven Cafe, Mersey Roads fans). Knowing those roads out beyond Corwen I imagine it would get grim as fuck on a cold day.

That's my 24hr territory - maybe I could throw in a few laps of the course for the LOLs :)
Cheers, added to my list.

Anyone know if I can declare a ride date for Hardboiled perm after I've sent the form?
And the Dean? -
• #6946
The Dean should be fine just email Justin, not sure about Hardboiled best to email Shawn Shaw and ask.
-
• #6947
When are you planning to ride HB?
-
• #6948
I'm not really sure to be fair, hence I'd like the freedom to choose.
Its almost certainly gonna be a spur of the moment thing. It may be before Xmas, but it may also not be till next summer.
I've probably only got about 5 riding days before Xmas, so if I can get it done this side of Spring, I'll be happy - but a lot depends on the weather. There is no way I'm doing it over winter with ice - I'm not that desparate for AAA/FWC points! I've got a couple of 100 cards with AAA and a 160 card with AAA stashed away for that, to keep things ticking over if winter is harsh.I can't find any email for Shawn Shaw anywhere.

For most of the Perms I've done, I've put in a prelim date but I will email confirmation if I do/do not actually start on that date. So I might put in a Saturday but if the weather's shit I'll swap days. I guess it's up to the organiser as to whether or not this is allowed.

I'll PM you the email I have.
Ha, that was the first audax the missus did, it was on a couple of weeks before the Nycto :)
