  • Anything pretty much except Supernova E3 will work with Secula unfortuantely.

Supernova use DC for their rear lights, almost all others are AC. If you take the Supernova E3 have to go with their rear too.

  • argh ok .. so Edlux and B&M are pretty much the only choices left?

  • Why is one of the front brake nut mounts or a qr/fork eyelet mount not an option? Is this for DBAD?

  • Just do this?

  • I did the upside down mount thing on my 24 pack rack. It is solid.

  • pretty much in terms of main brands.

  • so the IQ-X is compatible with Go Pro? If so I already use a K-Edge combo mount ..

@Aroogah nope, its for carbon winter bike that has 12x100 thru axle.

  • Kind of. You need to get rid of the mid fin.

  • interesting .. will have a look, very neat.

  • I plumped for another Luxos-U.

Risk of water ingress be damned, it will charge my gps/phone on the go...

  • Ah, amazing!

I reckoned it'd be a stock component but wouldn't have known where to start looking.

    Cheers.

  • You may want to double check the size of the crimps, i’m not 100% its that exact one.

  • I tried getting the inidviual wires and the crimps out of the plug yesterday without much success but now I know what they are I'm sure I'll find a guide to getting them out online somewhere and can measure them properly.

  • They should just have a small tab on the side which you can see through a small window, poke that with a tiny screwdriver or tweezers and give the wire a tug at the sane time. Easy in theory, but they can be a real bugger sometimes.

  • Heavy metal dynamo!

  • So SON handlebar mount works with IQ-X and they claim it will work with other B+M Lights too!

Festive 500 is going to be LIT

  • Where does that attach to?

  • handlebar same mechanism like the Spur cycles bell.

  • @Black_Rainbow_Project Have you got your Sinewave Beacon yet? Would like to hear about it if/when you have. Jaw dropped when I just saw this on their site:

  • Yeah I got it, but unfortunately I can hardly give any feedback as I'm still bloody waiting for Hammerhead to release their Karoo GPS unit, as I'm mounting the beacon underneath it on the go-pro mount.
Its annoying really as Sinewave really helped me out to get it to me quickly.
I can tell you that the quality is awesome. And the company themselves are really helpful.
It's now also going to be longer before I can use it as my English is going back to Rob to be modified, and one modification is internal dynamo routing.
I've tried the light out connected to a cache battery and it certainly seems crazy bright to me.
I have no doubt that it's going to be a killer light when I can finally get it all hooked up.

  • Cheers man, sounds like it's going to be damn good. The website doesn't really show - is the rear light output just a short section, bare wired ends?

Seems a shame to me they haven't used coax, esp as they fit well into adhesive cable Di2-type guides.

  • Loads of cable attached...

  • The scuffing on the mount is from me squeezing it into my go-pro adaptor. :)

  • Anyone got first hand experience with the Supernova Triple vs. the Edelux II?

  • Reflector will be upside down, no? The E3 that's meant to be mounted like this has flipped internals so that the beam is as they intended
