You're a sucker for marketing.
@dbr I'm running 1x on mine and my other half's bikes. Never dropped a chain, NEVER. No silly clutch mech, just the right chain length and a narrow wide chainring.

I rode one today for the first time (on a road bike that is) - it's dead silent, I love it. With a double though.
