A guy said it was the equivalent of going up 6% to get to the top. Wondering in what way that would be correct.
In the way that if you rolled 50m while gaining 3m of elevation, that would be 6%. The actual average slope on the track depends on how much of a diagonal you take to get from the black line to the fence. Going straight on at the end of the straight is more like 30%, while slowly creeping up the track over more than a lap might be less than 1%.

What shops in London stock De Rosa bikes that do test rides?
I'm looking to test a SK pininfarina before buying a frameset.
Geoffrey butler in Croydon don't have the stock

I doubt anyone carries enough stock to have a frame available for test rides. Have you contacted the UK distributor? If anyone knows, they will.

If one were looking to lace some old 70s hubs to some new road clincher rims and wanted shiny silver period looks, what rims would one choose?

Where is the best place on the forum to find a lawyer who does leasehold extensions? If it's here drop me a PM. Looking to sort ours out.

How do I find out myself?

Hey, will a sram force 11 speed cassette fit onto shimano deore xt thru axle hubs?
negative.
You can file away at the freehub and there'll be room. 11 speed road is different from 11 speed mtb.

Is there a reasonably priced (less than £50), 130bcd, oval, narrow wide chainring with 40-46 teeth? I can't find one.

Anyone used those cheap lifeline sprockets? Will they kill me?
-

I’ve used on the road and track. Hasn’t killed me. I’m not very strong and don’t skid

Can I refit this latex tube? It was pretty stuck to the tire

Can I refit this latex tube?
Won't do any harm to try, latex tubes are often ribbed for her pleasure after they've been used for a while, and they still usually fail at the valve or the splice rather than the wrinkles.

Nothing in 130bcd, narrow wide and oval, as far as i can see. Maybe I'll just have to make do with a round chainring.

Okay, I bought it before asking and realised it doesn't fit. Pictures showing the freehub to be too small.
Will a sram force 1 derailleur work with the deore xt cassette?
How do you find out this!

Depends on the derailleur cage length. Long cage force 1 covers cassettes up to 42t.

Thanks, that does look to be the cheapest option going.

I’ve picked up some Shimano hydraulic road levers (RS505), but the matching road specific calipers seem well overpriced (£55 each). Can I just get a set of cheaper MTB calipers?
All I can find on the web is that the road calipers have no ‘banjo’ and I’ve no idea what that means.

This is a banjo:
Velodrome Banking.
Does anyone have any information on the equivalent hill gradient to where you cycle on the velodrome banking?
A guy said it was the equivalent of going up 6% to get to the top. Wondering in what way that would be correct.
Many thanks.
