this one popped up in another thread on here a few months back (recounting incidents from the US rather than Aus).
maybe i'm being pessimistic, but i'm not sure the venn diagram of people who would watch these films and the type of people that use their phones whilst driving meets in the middle - even if frequent users were prompted to do so by someone close to them.
this sort of information could do with being distilled down into 30 second clips and slipped in amongst their instagram stories.

’How has something so rubbish been built?’ New Cambridge cycle park branded the worst designed ever.
Seems like an exaggeration, but it is pretty bad.

Hah, yeah, that thing is shit. Stuff gets nicked from it too. Hopeless.

There's something of the myth of architectural omnipotence going on here.
My office building has a ramp down into the basement - for vehicles - but we are allowed to push our bikes down it. I find it a bit annoying that I can't ride down it like the lorries that make the deliveries but to be honest it is a matter of seconds.
The real problem here seems to be the building manager's decision to not even let cyclists push their bikes down the ramp, not the design of the building.

Oh no. The design of the building is wretched too.
The design of the whole new station square is a travesty for a city that has been at the forefront of architecture for centuries. Lots of articles if you google.
It makes me sad every day when I go through.

His wife has left him and the Obama’s have weighed in. I think he might top himself because he is surely looking at jail time now.

Barack and Michelle Obama, whose daughter Malia served as an intern in Weinstein’s company >earlier this year, released a joint statement expressing disgust with Weinstein.
Madness. He was untouchable.

I am sure there are a number of other big hollywood producers etc who are now extremely worried - hardly likely that Wienstein is the only one.
I am also disappointed that the likes of Angelina Jolie, Paltrow etc haven't called him out before now. Surely they were secure and powerful enough to make the allegations rather than waiting for others to blow the first whistle.

thought the exact same thing about jolie

They’re just regular people at the end of the day. They may still be troubled/scared etc irrespective of their public persona of strength
I cant even find the comment section on that web page.
Edit. I was clearly blind. found it now
