I had full front to back routing on CAAD10 Disc with cable pull discs and never had any problems when calipers were adjusted properly - i used CX77 calipers and they were far more responsive and modulated that Sram Force CX1 HRD

Also did the same on a Trek Crockett - no issues whatsoever

It’s the gear cable stop that’s gone though. I know you can run full outer for that too like most CX and MTB. Concerned about extra friction for shifting though

Trick to cable discs I've found is to use the tension adjusters on brakes to get a really good purchase when pulling. Struggled for months aligning the pads to get really good braking, but after winding out the adjusters, the stopping power ramped up enormously.

My HY/RD are amazing. Only heard good things about the Juin R1 cable hydros too. I would say they are ~80% as good as full hydros.

I have JuinTech on my CX, they're great, cheaper and smaller than hyrd too
