  • Thanks, and - I'll let you know if I decide to let them go.

  • Sweet, thanks!

  • 2nd dibs if you sell. This completes my collection.

  • Sure, thanks.

  • Cant really thank you enough, got a pair of m520 and they're incredible, such a good secure feeling, feels just like it should. SPD is the ultimate pedal for me :D

  • If anyone needs I have a pair of Atacs for sale in classifieds. Moving soon so gotta get rid of them

  • That's great man, thanks for letting me know :)

  • So time atac cleats work with look s track pedals right? Does it work the other way round as well? S track cleats working with time atac pedals?

  • I only use S-Track cleats with Time pedals.
Only the round spring though. Works perfectly and the Look cleats wear much less.

  • I tried to use ATAC cleats on s tracks; it was not a lot of fun. Just riding geared I came unclipped a couple of times, definitely would not recommend for skidding.

  • Time Cleats are designed to wear out faster saving your expensive pedals. Using the Look cleat probably isn't doing great things for your pedals

  • Sure thing

  • I've been using the look s track pedals and cleats for the last couple of weeks and quite like them. I have definitely accidentally unclipped more than I did with the atacs they replaced. Only when I've not clipped in properly to start with though. It's harder to tell because there isn't such a loud or definite clipping in sound. I probably wouldn't use them brakeless.

  • I like that people who use time pedals admit to it like someone who used to do heroin. "Hi, my name is John and I use Time Pedals." Second to that I love that when working in shops with rentals people who use time pedals always come in with that sad, dirty ziplock bag with their pedals in it. "Please sir, let me use my strange French pedals on your bike....please..."

  • Just picked up some of the new ATAC xc2, not my first time clipless but first time clipless fixed. I have them set up with the standard 13 degree release angle and went out for a ride and unclipped twice mid skid. Coming from clips and doubles, is this just my technique or could it be something else?

  • I've been looking for Atacs with a flat platform on one side for a while. Just saw these:

Anyone have any experience of them? Wondering how the flat section feels for both off road and general casual riding.

  • Maybe try the 17 degree release angle?

  • Purchased my Time pedals from Merlin Cycles (if my memory is correct). I asked them in spring when they would be getting the Time Link pedals in. They didn't know and I still have not seen any in the UK.

I would be keen to hear of a UK supplier.

  • Absolutely loving my look s tracks. I've not accidentally unclipped since I got used to making sure I was clipped in properly to start with. Feel really nice and smooth.

  • It's because they come supplied with the 'easy' cleats.
    Buy the standard cleats.

  • Cheers, this solved my problem didn't realise the easy cleats are a ten degree. Standards worked a treat.

  • The easy cleats are so pointless. Ridiculous that any of the atacs ship with them as standard.
