I'll be on the train, I have a railcard so I'm happy to sort myself out or group together

Sun's shining and work is under control so I'm riding out. Anyone know how nice the lea river path from Stoke Newington/Springfield Park to Cheshunt is?
-
• #6
It's OK - tarmac from Marksfield Park to Pickett's Lock, then gravelly

What sort of sandwich?

A baguette really. Spicy chicken and lettuce. Cheap and tastes it.

Dibs lettuce if you consider splitting.

Is the chicken NJS? Will you post? If so dibs.

That last bit along the cycle path was better than I remembered
30 miles, some tarmac trails through the Lea Valley to start, then Hertfordshire lanes with a couple of short but refreshingly sharp climbs. There's a distinct whiff of Toblerone at times.
Train out Liverpool St 19:11 arrives Cheshunt 19:34 (calls at Tottenham Hale)
Return trains are pretty frequent, last one 00:11
You can use Oyster to get to Cheshunt (it's zone 8, I think the daily cap is £13.10). Although groupsave works out at £22.20 for 3.

I'll probably be riding out, so if anyone's taking the train you'll have to self-organise.
