What servers you playing on?! Usually about half a dozen drop on that base, at least.

I've got ~90 hours in PUBG, the 4 squad I play with have ~300 hour. Just another chicken dinner earlier today. Full squad still alive. I really do not like fps normally, esp. PvP, but really enjoy playing this game with friends.

Interesting the stats on that site show less play time than Steam does. I guess that's actual playtime for the matches rather than the game running

ARGH! Internet is down at home (where I'm 'working' today). Tried to play PUBG using my 4g connection from phone. 'chuted in on top of another player who, despite my best efforts at punching, dodging and indeed picking up a sickle and slashing, punched me to death in 3 hits. This is not a game to play using a 4G tether it would seem.

It's defaulted me to some Asian servers for some reason. Not sure if it chooses best based on connection?

Thats odd... a couple of lads I have played with claim Asian servers are a bit easier (and EU the hardest) so that must be why you are doing so well.

Internet's back on at least so no more lag kills. Though did just get sniped from seemingly nowhere as I drove over a bridge.

I do about 18 hours a day of work 6 days a week but this week I'm tired and clients are being slow to respond so taking it easy in the mornings.

quite nicely solves the non-matchmaking aspect will give it a go tonight.

they also just launched faction rallies (pick a side, do events to earn tokens for your side, winning team gets a special reward at the end of the rally). and managed to get a ton of gear from the tokens and some of the daily tasks so got my light level over the 280 threshold now so if i can do some guided raids should end up getting some half decent end-game top tier stuff now.

Dead dirty PUBG tactic: not touching the keyboard until you've been auto-ejected and parachuted safely then punching the other AFKs. I discovered this by being AFK and coming back to find myself standing in a field behind someone else taking advantage of the situation by punching another player. Naturally I snuck up behind them and punched them to death (and finished off the AFKs they couldn't manage).

I did actually spot the 'live' one spinning around in the parachute scoping out who was going to get punched first but I played dead and thankfully she went for someone else and was facing the other direction.

I hate this game. don't buy it. it's just maddening.

I think I'm pretty good in a tactical sense - working out where I can't be seen and running in cover etc but when it comes to combat I'm either utterly terrible or there are connection issues. Would accept either.

Lost so many one on ones including just a moment ago for the win - I think I killed 2 people all round but just carefully moved to the centre of the map while everyone else shot each other. Was last man standing with someone else - a big red crate thing fell out of the sky so I foolishly moved towards it as I was close. Someone else was closer. I saw him then went around the door to get to him with a Vector on full auto aiming at the door. He even fluffed and needed to reload his M16 but I sprayed mine all over the place and then he shot me. Still - 2 x second places within 24 hours, I'll take that.

Just tried this, so did 3 other people.

I pretended to be afk then went and punched someone death who was busy punching a real afk, then I punched him to death too. Then someone turned up with a pistol and killed me, then someone turned up with a shotgun and killed him. I didn't stick around to see how it went from there but I noticed a pattern.

In other news I came 2nd again just then. Serendipity meant the final zone was on a hill I was sitting on, long grass, lots of trees and me with the silenced VSS in a ghillie suit. Saw them all like ants coming towards me as the zones got smaller and picked off 3 from range, then for the very final zone I saw someone crawling on the hill 30 yards below me. I knew there was someone else nearby so didn't move in case someone was behind me. Sure enough, gunshots from behind to the left, close, then saw a cloud of red spray up from the crawler. I was in shadow of a tree, wearing the ghillie suit but foolishly turned around. Winning player hadn't seen me and wouldn't have had I not shuffled to see if I could get a shot. Probably the closest I'll ever come to winning a round. Was all prepared to screen shot my victory and then rage/relief uninstall.

Jeezus bloody Christ. I’ve never made it past top 8, usually end up in the top 20 but that’s it. I feel I’m good tactically but still struggle to shoot for shit while I’m screaming like a little child. I’m tempted to put my egpu back together for tonight if folks are about. My new ones gone missing. Thanks dpd.
