My PS4 has been living at my GF's, she's due to move in next weekend and I've managed to reclaim it and will plug it in tonight and settle in to updating constantly for a couple of hours before playing any of the games I have...

Are there any decent bluetooth controllers, preferably reasonably compact? I'd like something I could use with laptop and tablet without faffing with cables and USB OTG but a cursory search shows a load of crap ones.

I just use my DS4 (playstation) with the PC. Sometimes have to use scptoolkit to get it to work with older games, but most modern ones support it. Oh and scptoolkit supports bluetooth if you don't want to cable it.

So I’ve started playing Skyrim again. Who knows I may even complete it this time....
-
• #17832
You can complete it? I've been hankering to play something like this while I wait for Bannerlord. Playing a bit of Warband as I can't be bothered to bootcamp and play something better (so need something that runs in OSX) but having done about 1000 hours of it the fun is pretty much gone. I did start a new Skyrim character about 9 months ago but again, having sunk hundreds upon hundreds of hours it and knowing the maps backwards it seemed a bit dull, even as an Argonian mage instead of my usual Nord tank.

I don't know but I'm planning to try and complete it this time! Rather than my last build that was a one hand magic other hand sword build I've gone for the sneaky archer.
Sneaky archers are fun but once stuff gets all up in your face it can get dangerous quite fast.
I know exactly what you mean about the map though, I think it's fair to say I haven't spent hundreds of hours playing it yet there are still some parts that feel so familiar. To that end I'm spending time going to other parts of the map before I carry on with the main quest.

Addicted to Mario Run but too cheap to pay for the full game today as it's gonna be half price on Friday...

PUBG.
The last 5 mins of DayZ and great for dialling in your aim, had some cracking team matches recently, reminded me of the good ol days... -

Maybe I'll keep an eye out for a steam controller, looks like it could be the cheapest option.

Anyone else playing destiny 2?
so far it's seeming pretty well done. am nearing the end of all the side missions but there's been a ton in there and I've not really got into the raids/pvp yet so more content to do.
liking the gear progression and how the in-game currencies work, currently on 279 light and need 280 to unlock the full gear modding system but up until now i've seen a pretty steady return on time spent playing to better kit.
still not a fan of some content being gated behind friends-only multiplayer though as not too keen on having to make online friends just to play some missions and ruins the pick up and play aspect as you have to organise yourselves but i can see why that wouldnt be a problem for the more keen players.

I find this level of barrier irksome as well. I really only have time to do single player stuff and in a dip-in/drop-out kind of way. I see a number of games I would like to play but the reviews all say "the single player thing is a throwaway set of missions but their capture the flag/castle/pointless objective is really polished."It's like the single player experience no longer matters. Shame really.

I've got a preorder for it on PC. For such a multiplayer game it really suffers from a lack of match making. I'm hoping it will be easier for that on PC.

PUBG bought and installed.
COD:WW2 multiplayer beta also installed.
Virgin is expensive but it's so fast. 21GB dld in a couple of minutes.
I remember the days of waiting half an hour to download a 3.5mb video.

Yeah but it felt so much more romantic when you had to wait for a while ey?
PUBG - get on it, get rekt, repeat, don't be precious. Not too many players are too tactical though so you can take real pleasure in flanking and gunning them down as they crouch in "cover".

No idea wtf is going on. Just punched someone to death after they missed wildly at point blank with a pistol. Grabbed their pistol, ran inside and found m16. ran outside, hid in the woods, watched someone in a car pull up and go in the building, I sniped them when they came out, now am on top of a mountain waiting for the play zone to get smaller. i'm scared. send help.

are there binoculars? I can't see a fucking thing. and can you zoom in a fraction without the scope? I see the crosshairs narrow but not actually zooming when I hold right-click :/
I managed to catch a little bit of that live, most of the comments were enjoying the relative chaos compared with his usual videos!
