Porky fork back on.
The cut Surly now comes in at 914g down from 986g uncut.
The cut carbon Dolan is a slimline 578g.
The carbon just feels dead, just from handling the steel it's tinging and pinging like a giant tuning fork. I was tempted to keep the carbon fork but doubt large tyres and mud and limited clearance will be a good combo, seen loads of frame damage to steel and Alu from muddy races.
Will start looking fitting a front mudguard somehow, may look to clip-on types.
Roller rode very well with the Dolan fork, got used to it now, only had a quick blast on the steel fork ages ago and the Dolan felt sharper handling wise.
