I went to see the Windmill today, it was as fantastic as I thought it would be, but the converted stable block cum bungalow was awful. I simply couldn't see the value in the place - anyone who could afford the asking price would not live in the bungalow, i.e. the asking price is too high, but then there's the windmill.
My view is that the windmill, cool as it is, actually has a neutral (or possibly negative) value due to how in encumbers the land and associated buildings via both the grade 1 listing and the maintenance of said windmill. Still, I'm sure it'll find a buyer at some point.
