@dbr came 16th overall which is quite a feat. Winner took 10 secs out of second place! sounds nuts but in the 2 up final he proved how strong he was.

Who won? Isaac?

first time i've done it, i'm loitering around the bottom too as expected. it was great day though, would have liked to have been able to hang round longer to watch.

back wheel slipped loads on the steepest bit, thought i was going to fall off. having never been, it was a stronger field than i anticipated, everyone was flying up.

Hold your head high, Ho. You were the first and only LFGSS-branded finisher. Well done.

And Thomas Mann rode and came 44th.

I'll be back next year definitely and will either do it on my roadie, or if I was to do it on fixed again I'll pick the correct gear ratio!

Cheers for those organising and volunteering? I finished 45 which I was a bit disappointed with, I'm blaming a combination of excess weight (bike and rider) and bad technique (changed gear at the wrong time) but room for improvement next year, hopefully.

But I've never ridden Swains Lane and I'm not sure I'll get chance before next weekend. Would entering be stupid?
