  • Yeah, it's in Wegelius' book. It's in the context of a piss poor UK cycling setup and explained as an attempt to help their pro careers on the continent.

  • They are professionals, why should they work hard for the nominated leader on the day, Roger Hammond in this case, if he's not going to pay them?

    I didn't see a lot of holier than thou British cycling fans complaining when Konstantin Sioutsou rode for Team GB at the London Olympics.
