Any ideas on where to get a reasonably priced Olympus Mju ii? Thinking eBay but worried about it all working nicely

They don't exist anymore. Ebay ones always go for big bucks. Shop ones also. Lucky car boot sale find is your best bet for cheap I reckon.

is anyone thinking of selling a neg scanner anytime soon? if not what is a decent scanner to start with? is there a hive mind recommend at all?

I’d recommend a Konica Big mini, less well known, I have a couple and they are cracking little cameras.

The quality of this scanner is pretty good, it just isn't very automated or fast.
