Mudguards

I want to fit mudguards to my Steamroller this winter. I've previously had a set of SKS long blades (?) attached via p-clips, that were kind of ok, but the p-clips were a bit of a pain.

Any advice on best option for solid, rattle free guards attached without p-clips?

There are mounts on the trackends of the steamroller but not on the fork. The axioms are great but only work with skewers, less useful with hubs like Goldtecs.
