cn*carbon on ebay are cheap and have had good reviews on here

Yishun are also worth considering. Very happy with my 44mm disc wheelset. Custons was about £60. Excellent communication all the way.

Any recommendations for a carbon 25.4 seatpost for a Caad12?

Anyone bought a Spexcel gilet recently? Wondering about fit/quality https://www.aliexpress.com/item/SPEXCEL-High-visibility-reflective-2016-Lightweight-black-cycling-gilet-sleeveless-windproof-vest-bicycle-gear-free-shipping/32687029614.html?spm=2114.10010108.100009.5.4b24ae2be3Yti1&traffic_analysisId=recommend_2037_null_null_null&scm=1007.13482.37805.0&pvid=8a1a2fea-4a96-4e2c-b3d4-a4b5e0266537&tpp=1

I've got one. It's a medium that comes up more like a small. I wear small normally and it fits. I find it a bit tight around the chest and looser around the stomach so not the best fit, but it's not awful and looks pretty good

Went with CN carbon in the end, way cheaper than other options and not quite sure its any worse. Seems like everyone have the same rims and mix and match the same hubs and spokes.

What did you get?
I'm thinking about getting a 3rd set of CN*Carbons or CSCbike or whatever their ebay store is called now... I've got a 5ox25mm disc wheelset and bought a set of 50x23mm tubeless rim brake wheels for my brother.
I'm thinking of getting another set of the latter for my new bob jackson, but maybe I'll go 60mm, or 38mm...

Awesome! Cross/road/track? Can't wait to see them. I've promised myself a pair of their track wheels when I get my old bike back on the road.

Anyone got a spare 27.2 Chinese post I can perchance purchase? VCLS or otherwise
-
• #6338
Anyone seen those VCLS copies in 400mm?
-
• #6339
Or you just tryna get one quick?
(whats vcls? *ahem) -

Just quicker.

For the roadie, fits with the bargain basement race bike theme. I'm considering relacing the american classics on carbon at some point too, they're a bit banged... Well all my rims are banged :(

Got some 50x23mm tubeless wheels, same as your brother. 300 quid for about 1400-something grams, will surely die in the mountains
-
• #6343
I see.
Is that made in two halves?
-
• #6344
Correct. They're bolted together at the bottom but the idea is that they can move slightly, independently and therefore increase compliance and comfort

Size up 1-2 sizes ! The jersey I bought was smaller than stated size by quite a bit
-
• #6346
I had to size up on the Spexcel Gabba , have an xl which now fits pretty well . It's good on cold mornings, haven't tested in the rain yet. I doubt it's got any dwr treatment on it though . It got pretty hot on a warmer ride, noticed my phone and stuff in my pockets were wet and it was pretty damp all over when I got home . It doesn't have the ventilation panels a Gabba has .. but it's £20 ! Cool/cold weather only I'd say

I just got mine yesterday at the post. Very good indeed for the price. It's not to consider as a rain jacket though, more like a winter/cold-ish Jersey for bad weather.
I usually fit my L sized Spexcel product but this one is a little bit smaller. Its ok but for rain you expect more protection -

I found wearing a base layer underneath regulated my temperature much better, and stopped my phone getting sweaty.

Anyone spotted any Zipp NSW style rims yet?
