  • Clamp on system keeps the originality. Once you've drilled you've basically devalued your bike by 50% if you can sell it in the first place.
    I would just buy a single speed plenty of nice ones about.

    I'm not talking about why fixie skidders won't drill these frames. Surely the athletes that race them and train on them with brakes don't care about the resell value of undrilled NJS frames to Westerns?

  • These rider usually build a street racer single speed with the same geometry. If that's what they want.
    There was a lovely nagasawa build on here recently. Brakes didn't take anything away from it.
