Hmmm, I can see where you're coming from but I have probably twice that in my 'handlebar basket' right now.

Bought a bike from this guy a year or so ago. As far as I can tell he's legit, he's been fixing up and flipping bikes on ebay for quite a while.

My dad had a 1.2 like this stolen a while back whilst I was out of the country. Probably a little too late now. Would've come with white bar tape and different wheels stock as far as I can tell. Although if this was the same bike then the wheels could've been changed as the stolen one had a broken spoke.

I've noticed this chaps ads over the last few months on Gumtree. Seems well dodgy to me but i might be wrong. He is selling a tonne of stuff. I wouldn't touch any of it with a shitty stick.

I presume this advert is as dodgy as it looks? No feedback and from Hong Kong fur what seems to be a bargain

Probably the same seller as the wheels, dodgy as the proverbial. another completely zero feedback with a spurious name. Don't touch with a bargepole. Even if its a real sale if they are knockoffs just as bad when your foot comes off.

Certainly dodgy, they steal photos and descriptions from old listings.

Or just in the case of the pedals a manufacturer's product shot. If in doubt i generally save an image out, even a cropped grab will do then run it through tineye.com a reverse image search engine which will tell you where the pics been used before.

Dodgy as F or worth a punt?

I would be going with dodgy as fuck!
I inadvertently bought some Dr Martens online for £190 and got some Chinese fakes where they were Dr Wovwang not Dr Martens and said Soes not Shoes on the side!
Luckily got my money back from credit card case.
If you go for it use paypal or credit card for obvious reasons.

It does say replica in the title and the bars are definitely fake Look bars too so it's def a copy!

Somewhat ironically, Dr Martens moved their production to China a few years ago and closed down the factory in Northamptonshire.
The owner also pulled out of Rushden and Diamonds FC where he had built a very impressive stadium and conference complex only a few years before and it is now being demolished I understand!! -

Just had a cambium c15 and (mint) campag nuovo record or gransport 2 bolt seat post nicked opposite Harrods in plain day light. Cunts.

What about this Burly from Gumtree: https://www.gumtree.com/p/bicycles/leather-saddle-brooks-and-others-many-to-choose-from-prices-start-at-%C2%A320-up-grab-a-bargain-/1274134034

It has lots of bike and those saddles but not sure if it's stolen or not.
Thoughts?
