  • It's just away end banter.

Punching and kicking stewards and police officers is not banter, you plum.

  • This. Obviously some dickheads fighting but for the large part I thought the Koln fans were showing amazing support and just having a good time. The crowds round central london looked great.

Lots of negative news reports this morning. Maybe its worse than it looked. Or maybe its because they're 'jarmins'

  • Stewards often dish it out so I imagine some of it is just retaliation.

  • Absolutely. There were only a small number of troublemakers.

  • The best guess that I have about what happened, based on what I saw with my own eyes and what a couple of friends who work at the club said is that about 50 to 100 Koln fans rushed the stewards and police at the away fan entrances and then opened the emergency exit doors from the inside allowing fans to stream into the stadium uncontrolled. These fans then proceeded to tear up the bars.

Whilst the police and the stewards tried to regain control of the situation another smallish group of fans (based on videos taken from directly above) rushed the stewards and police again, trying to overpower them to open the doors again. Some batons were drawn by police and some stewards pushed fans back away from the gates. Bottles and crowd barriers were thrown.

It didn't look or sound like retaliation to some stewards "dishing it out". Maybe 100 Koln fans out of 20,000 acted like cunts. Simples.

  • From what I've heard it was all pretty well mannered last night. Away fans sitting with home fans is a pretty normal occurence in Germany. There were probably a few ultras looking for trouble but I thought it was great to see a club which has had the tumultuous recent history of Koln bring so much support. Sad I'm not going out for the away leg.

  • The way Arsenal dealt with the Köln fixture is farcical.

  • Farcenal

  • Neverton.

  • 🤣😂🤣😂🤣

  • If Arsenal paid attention than the whole shitstorm wouldn't have happened in the first place. Glad nothing serious happened but it has to be a wake up call to many PL clubs.

When football becomes a commodity shit like this is going to happen. >20% of all members and season ticket holders do so on the basis that the a) can make good cash and b) if they're actually fans, to keep the costs down.

The touts on Fulham Broadway would also be at many other London games if Chelsea weren't at home. It's big business and long overdue that someone takes the problem serious.

  • To buy tickets on the second hand market officially through tottenham you need to be a member but i looked at 4 tickets to man utd on there at 150 quid each. It's basically legalised fully authorised by the club touting.

I wonder if Steve Parish has woken up and smelt the coffee yet. Having watched palace in their last game under Frank and first game under woy i can say they have gone totally backwards. That despite them being at home today. Players making the odd decent run are never picked out because it's always going high to benteke. Then sitting back in their own half letting saints chill out all the way to the half way line. Watching them pass it around between centre backs. Dreadful.

  • Can't wait for Palace to be relegated. Probably one of the most detestable teams in the league. The fucking eagle mascot, the cheerleaders, the overwhelming stench of Pardew.

Also looking forward to Roy sending Benteke out to take corners.

  • But their Ultras are so cool.

  • Looking forward to a draw at Old Trafford tomorrow. Piss Mourinho off and get Koeman a stay of execution

  • we though we'd use the sevilla game to get over the man citeh match and then we hoped the burnley game would help get us over the sevilla result

roll on the pounding of leicester to get over the disappointment of the burnley game

  • Think verts is going to play left back today not son left wing back again. Back to 4231 against a banker.. hopefully. had Burnley for a win today

  • Utd need +5 GD tomorrow to go top

I'm lumping a score on a Lukaku hat trick

  • League season is over after 5 games which is a new low. Questions need asking of Klopp

  • Given that Burnley Huddersfield and Newcastle are above you in the table I'd say it's a bit early for bed wetting although scoring and conceding 9 is mega lolz after 5 games.

Expecting spurs to step it up 2nd half

  • Tottenhams league campaign also appears over after 5 games.

  • Bye bye candleface

  • Speak for yourself!
Seasons just started, no bedwetting and woe is my club going on apart from you and pisti!

  • Good result for Tottenham today. Good and hard fought home point against a very strong Swansea side.
