Are people seriously still arsed about mods and rockers in 2017? Who gives a fuck? Dress how you want.

Ah ok. I've ok felt like that on ours but not such nice weather here in Glasgow.
I actually hate spring mattresses now as does my wife, the main reason for which being that in a spring mattress I just about ping her out the bed when I get in (I'm 200lb, she's under 100) but on the foam one o can jump into bed and she feels nothing.

A lot of BM/NF skins turned psychobilly, they were around as far back as BowWowWow/Theatre of Hate/Martian Dance days... A year or two before The Meteors arrived on the scene, then King Kurt came along and blew the whole thing wide open and it was dead... Anything 'psychobilly' that rolled up after The Meteors was a load of old bollocks...

Good foam breathes well, cheap foam is horrible - had a cheap one at uni and would get really sweaty.
Our mattress is a combination of springs and foam, and is more firm in my side of the bed. It is awesome, we both sleep really well, there is no sagging when I get into bed.

This was a Tempur mattress, so not on the cheap end of things.

Yeah they're disgusting. Foam can't breath and it holds heat. Fine in space maybe but not on earth when springs with natural fibre padding exists.

King Kurt played my local village hall when I was sixteen. I don't give a damn how shit they were, that night was fucking awesome.

Did you get a hair cut?

PS I didn't say they were shit, they were OK but the floodgates opened after KK... So much shit music, and most of them are still doing the global psychobilly circuit... All cunts...

They were pretty shit, to be fair. But when you live in rural Hampshire with no venues having a band that you'd heard of playing a mile down the road was very exciting.
I can't remember the story of how it happened, I think a friend of the drummer organised it or something.

Did you get a haircut tho'?!?

A few of my mates would get their hair cut at all of their gigs they went to... Then go to Andy's in Brixton for a tidy up... Grim haircuts...

Sorry, missed that originally. Thankfully I didn't.

Christ knows what state my hair was in then. Thankfully very few photos of my teenage haircuts exist. There were some shockers though.

Yes. For 2 years.
And I had a brand new one for a year in a different house before that too.
I talk mainly from experience, not anecdotally.
This one is particularly bad cossa the 21.7 st woman who slept in it before me, it has forgotten.
My back has been in ruins for 3 years now, I wake up twice a night cos of overheating and the other day I flipped it and it was disgustingly mouldy.
I'd hate to guess how much sea-water is in that nasty. BLEURGH.
I rent, my LL is a cunt, I am stuck with it.Least this mould patch is slightly firmer....
Also someone mentioned space. Memory foam didnt get to space, except for on some seats in the cabin.https://www.nasa.gov/offices/ipp/home/myth_foam.html
It is bollox.

precisely.
I hate it, I hate it, I hate it.
The mattress, not the users of them.
I just don't get on with em and I'm around 70kg, fully clothed and fed. -

I don't know your situation but that isn't acceptable. Have you reported to council Environmental Health, spoken to Shelter etc?

Its the tip of an iceburg, well large icecube. Small things.
But, I owe him a months rent atm and hes always been cool about things like that. So, you know, don't shit where you eat n all that.
That being said, when I move I reckon he'll try and keep my bond. I'm pretty sure he hasn't done any of that government credited bond saving thingy so thats gonna be a fun exchange... -
