Spurs are looking very good at the minute. 3-1 up, still attacking, still playing attractive football and pressing very high.
What Wembley hoodoo?

Great game, only downside the second yellow for verts for a swinging arm on götze. Means a new centre back for the 3 against apoel. Wonder if we'll drop dyer in or go with Argentinian new boy foyth?
Might have been a different result if aubameyang's wrong disallowed goal had been given. That was also a great strike.
4 goals and all of them crackers, and we could have scored more. Team was hungry for this result, and despite being put under immense pressure by Dortmund, we got a great result and showed we can adapt to trying circumstances.
Really happy with that!

Two things:
1) It's DEFINITELY Liverpool's year :)
2) You know you're wank when John Stones bags two against you -

Great wembley experience for the first time not in a corporate box. no queues off the tube and on it again within 20mins. Also standing like old skool up against a back wall a few yards from the tarpaulin and stewards separating those noisy dortumund fans. Spurs attacking our end in the first half and great to get two early goals. Was thinking Son was going to shoot from there and Kane's second reminded me of Linkers goal against germany in italia'90. Great game, Dortmund bossed it for a while and we were lucky with that disallowed goal. Sanchez looks like he's been around forever in between toby and jan cleaning things up and letting them push on. The new right back also had a great game bar one mishap.
There most be a surge in demand in liverpool for fresh bedsheets at the moment. Coutinho looked real happy to be there.
Looking forward to seeing Wiltshire staking his claim for a starting birth with an outing in the europa league tomorrow.

What are the odds on him getting sent off?

Lol wrong thread.
Spurs looked decent last night, winning in a different manner to the usual dominate and press.

Are they for a Mr Bilic?
(Edit - now my reply makes zero sense. As usual)

the red arrows failed to do it once again last night, the only english team not to take 3pts
hopefully we don't re run man citeh and spurs 1st season in the european cup where they didn't make it out of the group stages, i'm sure we can do itwe really need a defence

We're fucked. How many goals have we conceded in 6 games this season. I can't be arsed to count but it's around 15. I've already given up all hope tbh and am writing off another season already. Role on August

What with Everton and Liverpool, they should probably just shut down football on Merseyside. Let the manchester clubs take a pick of the players and call it a day.

Spurs got to the QF in their first year in the cl and were knocked out by Madrid. It was the second season last year where we crashed and burned. Don't Liverpool do better when they play the kids in europe..
What are the odds on him getting sent off?
Probably still less than him twisting an ankle.

Put everyone out of there misery.

I need to be put out of my misery. I wish there was some sort of procedure like in 'Eternal sunshine of the spotless mind' that I could undergo

It's way too early for Liverpool to call it quits. At least wait until January when Salah and Mane are off playing meaningful football on a different continent and Coutinhoooowmyback is sulking around Anfield like it's HMP Walton.

I was hoping we wouldn't be having the ACON this season

• #138267
Duh, you're totally right. Odd years only. Cheer up then!

its in the summer the next time too, so we won't lose our african players again for a few years

and coutihNO isn't a sulker ( well at least i don't think he is ... not knowing him personally and all that )
if he plays like he was in some of the pre season friendlies it wouldn't surprise me if he was high up on the premiershit player of the year list -
• #138271
Bit late, but...
Fantastic debut from Frank, a goal and an assist... Not bad at all, he's gonna be a big player for us... Fantastic racing down the touchline and his crosses are to die for...
CL minnows and all that but nice to bang a few in midweek... Batman getting a brace will do his confidence some good...

Has Koeman been sacked yet?
Fuck me this is the worst football I've seen in 35yrs and I've seen Brett Angel and Stuart Barlow
You not at the game?
