• I'm happy with my Pro Ones and reckon they would be a good choice for the race tyre. I've not had any disasters with them yet and just a couple of punctures that have needed 'worming'.

    I too am looking - albeit not that actively - for something around a 32mm to convert my commuter so will be interested in how you get on. And will similarly post up any progress I might make.

  • At road pressures, don't do it. More supple sidewalls in non-tubeless tyres mean blowouts are more likely. (So I've heard on the internet, never tried it personally)

    Hutchinson tyres are popular over the pond and have a few tubeless readies, panaracer also.

  • Ive had a Conti 4000GP II inflate and hold pressure absolutely fine at 90psi. Meanwhile its counterpart bought at the same time leaked like a sieve all round the sidewall.

    Didn't ride, removed and fitted Pro One instead.
