And Swift has twice finished on the podium in San Remo.
There's a lot of talk that the course suits MSR type riders, although it doesn't look too severe. The GB team doesn't have an obvious leader so it might make sense to get riders in breaks and keep Swift in the front group waiting for a sprint. This assumes he has the legs of course.
