  • Same situation for me kinda, if I didn't live upstairs or I had a huge lift that would take it I'd buy an urban arrow or something within seconds.

  • I already have the mega-haulage donkey bike, with associated trailer, but these are just so much more elegant. Plus I like to think I would be able to cycle any children of mine around the quaint little town I end up living in...
    </post-london day dream>

  • I keep getting chances to ride huge ones but then end up handing back the keys after(most are e-assited too). This one is the biggest on 2 wheels I've done so far an urban arrow cargo xxl with full case and everything. Was bliss to ride.

  • I really hope there was something exciting hiding in the box...?

  • A huge amount of urban arrow junk for the bike show stand and most of the stand from what I could tell, seemed to have a setup ready for a stand much bigger and then just had a corner by the test track. I got the all clear from urban arrow to ride the huge one after they had seen me riding the 2 smaller ones being way more relaxed than just about everyone who went near them that weekend lol

  • 2/3rds of what I paid (which has presumably gone up by around 20% since then, thanks Brexit) would be around £1550; forumenger discount would be £1450? Not cheap I know, but it is an awesome load-lugging (in my case, twins and shopping) beast...

  • New daily. Omnium mini-max, stock Shimano spec but with hand-build Halo / DT Swiss on Hope Pro4 RS.
Still need to sort out a few details but I'm really happy so far.

  • Testing out new bag made by my mate, handles a 100kg coffee run quite well

  • Ved jeg hvem du er?
Har jeg spurgt om det før?

  • Min ven, I don't think we have (I moved last year with - now ex -work). I'm sure we have acquaintances in common though.
I might try and start a LFGSSCBCPH soon, there's a handful of us around, no?

  • Is it sitting on innertubes "rack"? Is there something to stiffen the bottom?

  • Yep sitting on innertubes and the bag has strap underneath to hold it to the rack

  • A much smaller version for civilian use could be an option...

  • Perhaps your definition of quite well is not the same as everyone else...

The centre of gravity looks way too high for it to be rideable around say a roundabout above 10mph.

I know you haz mad skills, but please don't die 4 coffee

  • Advice from someone who needs electric assist to carry a few bottles of win :p

This was plenty stable, only the one box isn't sitting directly on the rack

  • Anyone has found a large box to put in front of the Bullitt? Something more cheap to buy instead their one on the site larryvsharry

  • @ShadeBoyy
Just find a plastic cargo crate somewhere and lock it down with ratchet straps, this one was found in a loading bay but you can probably getting something cheapish from somewhere like here http://www.solentplastics.co.uk/ if you can't find one for free.

  • They have the fork in the way at the front that limits how long the box can be though right?

  • yep, when this box is used on a bullitt it has to sit sideways.

  • Just seen this one in Hasselt no idea what the box is, I'll walk over and hope it's not moved.

  • Try IKEA storage boxes. Something like this .
Probably not the most sturdy, but should work.

  • Gamma-Wopla make all sorts of sturdy plastic cargo boxes... Found mine in a skip though. It makes contents rattle however so I'm looking at making a "bed" out of paracord or perhaps webbing. Any tips/ideas from Omnium owners?

  • The Bullitts I use for work all have metal boxes on the front rather than bags. What's the advantage of the bag? Mostly weight?

  • All companies love boxes for 'security' but not having one is best for awkward/variable sized/overly long or wide deliveries. plus it nice not having the aerodynamics of a brick.

  • In work we have a couple of the boxes that look exactly like I've seen on the front of a lot of Bullits for keeping tools in.

I bet you can find the exact same box for a lot less if you just don't go thru LvH.

I can't remember the branding that's on ours and I'm in the middle of a week off I'm afraid.
