I've been thinking about new frames since I dropped my regular ones a few months ago, finally wearing my second pair. Both are reglazed specsavers from several years ago, the dropped ones are broken and the current ones the colour is coming off the arms.
Went into Roger Pope in Dulwich where I last had a test and got the frames reglazed, had a browse and nothing there jumped out, mostly tiny lens area, plus I only saw one pair for under £200. Happened to walk past Tom Davies Bespoke in canary wharf and went in for a gander. Really cute acetate pair in a pale tortoiseshell with blue flashes, but also £££.
After years of dark frames I'm thinking of something lighter, maybe light tortoiseshell, and rounder. Dare I say it maybe more feminine. Seem to be quite a few big round lensed styles currently in fashion - I'm always trying to avoid looking at people over the top of my glasses, schoolteacher style, or getting a crick in my neck cycling.
Also thinking about buying a pair of these https://goodordering.com/collections/eyewear/products/multi-lens-glasses-maroon because I've never had prescription sunglasses, and they might be cool for that. But the models, they never smile. They have skinny noses. I'm pretty sure my cheeks would hit the bottom of those frames in a really annoying way when I smile, and they'd probably constantly be sliding down my nose anyway... Is it possible to add nose pads to such frames to lift them up?

Going to check out https://www.cubitts.co.uk/glasses - https://www.cubitts.co.uk/glasses/herbrand?color=camo look nice maybe, although I'm wary of going too cute.
