I'm in Germany until Wednesday - will likely WFH on Weds as I'll be getting home around 2am on Wednesday morning, so either pop over to SE23 then or I can meet you in SE1 Thursday?

Synapse? Is it actually BB30 or is it PF30?
The former is easier based on my experience today...

I've got a variety of tools that have accumulated over the years, the ones I end up using are the Park tools drift and the Park tools press:
Drift the bearings out, pull the circlips, clean everything with isopropyl, circlips back in, smear of red teflon grease and press the bearings in. The grease is more superstition than anything I suspect as it gets squeezed out as the bearings go in, but it makes me feel better so I still do it.
Bearings wise I'd grab whatever gets delivered fast, for a decent price - they all seem pretty similar until you get into the ceramic end of things.
In terms of further setup it's bang the axle in (more red teflon grease), making sure the axle is the correct way round, bearing shields on held in place with a blob of grease, then spacers (consult PF30 diagram and your frame for the specified alloy ones) then enough .5mm plastic spacers. Enough in this case means that you can't get a .5mm spacer edge-on into the space left by the wavy washer when it is under compression, i.e. the wavy washer has <0.5mm free space between it and whatever it is against (this if it's a Cannondale crank).

@dancing james If you don't want to go down the hammertime route you can source a puller like this.
I've got one of those mini BB presses to do the install but if you have a proper headset press get the adapters for that.

If you brace the frame (I find my leg does this quite well) then hammer time is happy time.
Don't put the frame in the stand and then just twat the drift with the hammer, you'll make the seat post gods angry.

Yeah...there's something about using a puller though...satisfying...
Have you got any of the (new) hollowgram spacers? I seem to have forgotten to order them.

I have Cannondale SRMs for sale, one wireless and spendy, the other wired and dirt cheap.

Good for high end and carbon bikes
Everything else, not so much
It's not like Cannondale have put Press Fit stuff on cheapie bikes*. CAAD6,7,8,9,10,12 are all high end race bikes. If you are using them as winter commuters / trainers, putting them away wet and then whinging about creaks you are kinda doing it wrong.
* maybe they did have some second gen non-US CAAD8s with them. Not sure. If they did, that was stupid.

For later reference:
I just replaced the headset bearings in my 2015 CAADX. It takes campag fit, 45 X 45 degree bearings. MH-P08H7 fit fine. https://www.kineticbikebearings.com/mh-p08h7-headset-bearing.html. -

What are the options for running a gxp crank in a bb30 dale? Frame already has bb30 bearings in. Any way to utilise those?
Ace. Can I grab it off you this week?
