Ok, it seems reasonable to assume that this frameset is a lot older than I'd realized. Something between late '70s and early '80s.
So I'll be looking to make up an old groupset to put on. Thinking of arabesque (strange name, anyone know why), seems affordable and parts seem reasonably plentiful. So if any of you have some spare, send me a pm and we may get this bike built up with something appropriate.
