• you need sealant in the tyre. Inject some through the valve.

  • Well it's staying up without sealant so I got further than I thought I would with tubeless :)

Should I look for a sealant I can inject through the valve? Does this method mess up the valve cores at all? Or should I pull it down and pour some sealant in? Is there a better sealant if using this method?

  • Inject via the valve. Easier and won't cause any problems.

  • Take the valve core out, inject through the valve stem. Should be able to do it without a syringe- most sealant bottles have suitably shaped nozzles.

Pro tip - squish the tyre down - to expel air - then push the nozzle on then release the tyre and it will suck the sealant in to replace the air that came out.
