222, 242, 271 and 290 are all: "apply localized heat to nut or bolt to approximately 482°F (250°C). Disassemble while hot."
I wonder if Rotor specified the wrong loctite for their lockring.
I can't recall if the manual specifies 222 or 243. I'm going to try something stronger next time anyway.

For some reason she tends not to want to join in when TBW and I work on bikes. I don't know why, I'm sure it must be riveting watching us.
Anyway, more people have kettles than hair dryers and hot water worked.
