@dancing james Yeah its definitely not a great bike, but I'm hoping it will be able to serve a purpose. Should it come to it I've also considered going SS as this is going to be a wet weather job. Offroading probably won't be a factor here, unless you'd count canal paths. If I suddenly fall in love with the feel I'd look for a late 90s frameset but this should suffice for rainy day commuting.
