  • Imagine if your employers were suddenly awash with cash, as was all their competitors, and wages were going up across the board. Would you sit happily on your current wage or would you want a piece of the action too?

  • I think an increase of £25k a week would be a substantial enough increase considering your employer doesn't rate you that highly

  • One observation from Stamford Bridge yesterday and a sign of the times is the smells, especially at half-time

Wafts of moules mariniere/spaghetti vongole and ground coffee.
Stark contrast to the hotdogs, skunk and horse shit at Goodison

  • One day you'll have those delights in Liverpool as well. One thing at a time though.

  • Oh and Tuchel to replace Conte in the next few days

Who is Tuchel and when will he be announced?

  • big sam to arsenal

  • Like Walcott came good after +10 years..
mid table at best this season.. impressed with West Brom, Burnley and Huddersfield so far.

And as much as I want to hate Spurs, I hope they have another great season..

The big football wheel has turned.. too many better clubs with guts and vision chasing top four and euro places..

  • Annoyingly I had to miss yesterday's match because I was on a trip (even more annoying as I was there at 3 o'clock on Saturday when it was meant to kick off). Trying to surreptitiously look at my phone, and then restrain myself as we scored a last minute equaliser, whilst going through US customs was fun.

We had a lot of shots (relatively for Burnley), we've changed from 4-4-2 to 4-5-1 which seems to have made us a little more creative. Heaton was as reliable as ever, I'm surprised there seemed to be so little interest in him in the summer. Particularly when you look at teams like Liverpool and their comedy keepers.

By all accounts the Spurs atmosphere at Wembley was dire, tales of chants and drumming being piped through the loudspeakers.

  • Atletico sign Costa for £45m and we've got him on loan until Jan

Horrible cunt but proven goal scorer

  • we sign keita for around E48mn even though we offered E80mn+ but he joins us at the end of the season, hopefully he'll improve and shine in the bundesleaga

we are concluding next years transfers before really starting on this seasons

  • Sky claiming Ox to Chelsea

  • Be a fullback within 2 seasons

  • A shit one too

  • Did lol at post 1 but he's a wing back already apparently. It's more like back on the bench by end of september.

What a shite weekend of football.
Arron Ramsey / Arsenal.. Simon Heslop and York city can shit all over your shit.. Conceding a last minute equaliser against burnely isn't painful enough, try watch fc united of manchester beating you two nil at home.. One of their goalscorers was playing sunday league last weekend so they say. Without doubt the worst team we've ever been beaten by, what happens when 11 twats play for themselves against 11 who play as a team.

  • I'll believe it when I see it... You will grow to love him then weep when he leaves...

Genius move, he'll score loads of goals against our rivals... That's if he can be bothered...

  • It will be interesting to see if Ox can develop under Conte, Moses has learnt and become a better player can Conte do the same with Ox?

  • I'd be flabbergasted if he didn't improve as a player. I imagine he'll be given specific instructions on what is expected of him as a player and if he doesn't perform they'll be consequences both from his team mates and his coach.
Everton were woeful and played off the park on the weekend and fortunate to only concede two goals. It was definitely a game too far but injuries and some questionable tactical and personnel choices didn't help.

  • What is going on at Arsenal? Wenger seems determined to sell every defender they have and keep Rob Holding.

  • Wenger fancies making a comeback, alongside Steve Bould.

  • I would pay good money to see that vision come to life.

Not as much as an Arsenal season ticket costs though....

  • Excited to see us announce Mbappe later. Can't wait to see him playing alongside Neymar and Cavani.

Finally been a good transfer window for us after the disastrous last two under Emery

  • Since when have you been from Paris?

  • 28 years. Pourquoi?
