-while not enjoying large stretches of it, it was one of the best running experiences of my life to date
-can't fault any aspect of the organisation, checkpoints, anything. Everything was exactly what you would want
-ultras are a good opportunity to eat as much as you can, something I didn't take full advantage of
Basically, it was great. I finished at 5:30am so spent all of yesterday feeling very odd, but I could actually run today (I'm not though, discretion being the better form of valour etc). I came 14th in 17:30 and I think I can chop at least 90 minutes off that in future.
