Your concrete fence post seems to need a bit of love too.

Hi, one way is to encourage their cat into your garden this allows the cat to extend its territory, Cats normally shit at the edges of territories, its like a no mans land and they will sometimes share this with other cats, you don't really want your garden to be what effectively is their toilet, as cat territories can sometimes overlap you may have to encourage another neighbouring cat so you get two for the price of one, BTW its doesn't work in just one visit cats need to feel comfortable so when you see it on its back a few feet from you then you know you've cracked it. good luck and enjoy their company.

Yeah, been wonky since we moved in but are actually pretty solid. Ivy destroyed most of the horizontal beams. Will get around to replacing the fence panels and straightening the posts eventually but it is way way down the list in priority. Hoping the landlord over the back wants it fixed first and I'll offer to split the costs.

As the good side is towards your neighbour are you sure it's not your fence?
-
• #2036
It most likely is, but like I say, it's not bothering me for now so I'll wait until I can be arsed or until they say something. I may proffer to replace the fence if they cut down their leylandii.

Fruit farm next door gave me some fruit boxes. My new tractor helped me move the current compost dumps and flatten a space for the fruit boxes
Next I will remove the front panels and the boxes will become my composting area.

I am hella jealous of that!!
Manure in one, leaf mould in another......
I fully expect to see early squash, courgette etc growing off the top of these next year. -

Will probably ask for 8 more of the boxes. We have leaves in abundance which make a great soil/mulch.
-
• #2046
Stack them up?
-
• #2047
Different locations around the place. So some near the veg beds, those 4 in the garden and four further away for mulching down weeds and other things that will take longer to rot/kill seeds etc.

Out in the countryside. Space is not an issue.

These are all fantastic suggestions. Perhaps I'll go for a mixture of them all.
