Great effort Clive. Your persistence and stamina are admirable, and it's a great achievement to ride 1400km in 7 days. Sunday's will feel even better!
Word of warning though. I was wondering whether I'd be up to a challenge like this, and thought that I've never tried to push myself this much, and would probably lack the dedication and motivation. The closest I have ever come was trying to be vegetarian for a month when I was 13. I managed it, and I've been vegetarian ever since.
What if you manage your challenge, but then also find you can't stop, and you end up riding to Cambridge and back every day for the next 16 years?
