It has been a great ride thru lovely Kent, under nice weather, on top of wonderful machines.

Cheers for a great afternoon @falconvitesse and @anidel!
Great route with some solid dudes for company. 1 x Holdsworth, 2 x A.S Gillott's and 1 x Hobbs of Barbican.Always love Knatts Valley and was surprised to be able to grind up Tinkerpot on 96GI. Highlights included descending Rowdow with not one set of decent brakes between us, @falconvitesse 's mate overshifting and wrapping the chain twice round the rear cassette, locking up the rear wheel and performing a great 10m skid (dude appearing from the house we were in front of with the necessary tools to get us going again and even bringing out some detergent and water to wash hands) and a pint at the Malt Shovel in Eynsford to finish.
11/10 Great weather, great company, fantastic bikes, win!

looks like it was a great day. Organise another and I'll do my best to come along next time. I've got several mudguard options so maybe we could risk an Autumn ride in October?

Couple of things I'm intending to put on ebay after the bank holiday: 1959 Dave Davey more or less complete; 1949/50 Macleans frame for complete resto. Let me know if you want to have a chat about either, before they go on. Pix of Dave Davey attached.

For sure @falconvitesse! I'd be keen on a Southend run. Pretty sure @ElGato is out that way. Picked up the fixed 30's Selbach trike finally after 7 months from @hefty today. Poor form of me I know having something taking up space in another man's garage but after seeing his setup, didn't feel half as bad ;) . Thanks for the tour of your large homestead! Such a lovely lovely spot and the bike is super nice. Going to bring it in the next ride.

Ride looked fun. I'll come to another one hopefully, with my bastardised and shockingly repainted Jack Taylor. Was swimming in Suffolk last weekend.

You've definitely sown the seed with Talk of the proper Eroica. Been thinking about it all afternoon!

If you commit now for 2018 it'll give me plenty of time to flog the cars and buy a proper camper.
Tuscany is a bloody long way at 60mph tho, we'd need to make a week of it. :)
