  • Well done for that, fingers crossed for the wee fella.

  • It snores loud, I feel it well and for info I live near the forest.
I feel that I did well not to finish it...
He looked me in the eye as he was on the roadside
his eyes told me not let it die like that.

  • Chapeau Gaston

  • He is gone : ) alive !

  • Well done and thank you!

  • : )

  • Great news, well done @Gaston

  • good work!

  • I have a bit of seitan left over and a load of peppers and chillis i just harvested. What should I make?

  • Something in crispy batter! I had seitan 'chicken' from a vegan stall at this food thing in Walthamstow on Friday (their first ever outing as a stall, they're called Pig Out) and it was delicious.

I'm a vegetarian not vegan, but today I went to a chip shop in Ramsgate (Shakey Shakey, might be old news to vegans) and they have a whole vegan menu that they offer on (I think) Tuesday, Wednesday and Sunday. Including vegan battered sausages, and homemade vegan tartare sauce. I had 'Tofish', tofu covered in seaweed, battered and fried. It was great and I'd highly recommend their chips and mushy peas as well.

  • First go with violife pizza cheese, it melts and is a bit like a liquid cheese string. Kind of good and a fun novelty but I think I prefer just veg.

  • Do you make your own dough Ed? Have you got a recipe?

  • Pizza pilgrims dough recipe and cooked them with their frying pan method.

I used 1g of dried yeast instead of fresh.

  • This looks as if it's well worth a detour or 17:

  • going to make this a priority. Cheers Oliver

  • You're very welcome. :)

Came to post about being annoyed that I've only just found out it was the Stoke Newington Vegan Market today. This one was at Abney Hall. It's getting a bit silly with vegan markets in this area (not that I really object); there's the original one, at Hackney Downs Studios, one that takes place every Sunday at the Mosque in Shacklewell Lane, and now this one. #coalstonewcastle

  • Anybody know of any rooms knocking around for rent atm in a vegan/veg household?

  • Whole Foods used to stock v-pud - the vegan black pudding. They don't any more. Anyone know of a London stockist? The internet doesn't help and I want to eat one.

  • Would take you in thrash if we had room!

  • Went to Zionly Manna in Peckham for a quick lunch today, very tasty. would recommend if anyone's in the area.

  • Had lunch at Harmonium in Leith this afternoon. All vegan, really nice change from the burgers/junk we've been having recently when eating out. Definitely worth a visit if you're ever in Edinburgh.

  • There are few vegan london flat share groups on fb. Just search for them, I'm sure you'll find something.
