Hi mate - that would be perfect.

I'm sure this is an easy fix so potentially a bargain turntable here. I'd have jumped at it be there's no way he'll post it.

Really?

Not a bargain? Not an easy fix?

My mistake- the link suggests a different tt because the original has sold. Sorry.

I gave the Roberts Play10 to my Mum. Sounded fine, very easy to organise presets, does alternative broadcasts like the daily service which is on a side channel to Radio 4 in the mornings (apparently). I wouldn't describe any of them as HiFi.

I need a replacement stylus for a pickering xv-15. I'm okay with aftermarket I think, but I have only seen them with silver dustmatic brush and my cartridge body is brass. I'm a fixie skidder hipster so I want it to match. What to do?
Anybody know a source? -

I am back in London fulltime now, and my croft pre is back from the hotrod shop, so I am flogging the set up from my west country mansion. the big pioneer is going into retirement as the spare amp, but the passive pre, the phono stage, the tt and the speakers are up for grabs in fact, if you have a good power amp, this would make an instant awesy rig...
if anyone is interested - drop me a line
sony ps-6750 tt > firebottle plus phono > Tisbury passive pre > [insert your power amp of choice] > royd minstrels = YOU ARE NOW A HIFI HOTSHOT!

If you split I might be interested in the firebottle

Guess this might be the best place to ask some questions.
Firstly, will I regret selling my cd collection and if I do sell it, is Music Magpie the best place?
I've a NAD amp and CD player that I feel should also go and perhaps the speakers too ; AE Evo 3 . I'm thinking with the sale of the music plus the NAD pair I could get a small , simple unit that incorporates DAB and Bluetooth. Any thoughts on one? The AE speakers could be wired up to this too.
I simply find myself unable to get over 800 cd albums out on display due to space and the ugliness of them too bothers me.
Cheers

Royd Minstrels are awesome little speakers. They defy belief on a size to sound basis. That is all.
-
• #4223
they kick dicks. I heard a pair in a record shop ages ago and had to try them. I'd keep them as spares if I had the room.

You'll get 20p to 50p for each one. So about £200 but it makes them easy to get rid of in one go.

Personally, I'd keep the amp and speakers and just put a Chromecast Audio on them and stream all the CD's you ripped before selling...
Thanks
