I've got a MKS NJS cage spare... M or L?

I'm size ten so I think L, single-strap?

Considering. Also flats and straps

Wrist ache usually means a combination of bars too low & poor core strength meaning you're having to support your upper body with your arms and your wrists take the brunt. Saddles are designed to be level, if you're having to tilt it back to get comfy - something else is wrong.
I'd say most likely solution would be raise your bars, try that with your current saddle angle - you'll probably feel like you're going to fall off the back of it, then try it level, it will probably feel better.

Cheers for that, but I have set up a few bikes in my time and know what I find comfortable

Bike in commute mode, with clamp on brake, loving riding at the mo, the Sugs combined with that frame is so stiff when you stamp on the pedals.
Continuing to debate restoration, will be after annual bonus so August prolly. Sparkly black is current thinking. I'd also like to get the lugged seat cluster painted white, and potentially some custom white Razesa decals. I'd don't want it looking contemporary though, that fat down tube was way ahead of its time.
Also long-term thinking about wheels. A spoke broke on the rear wheel so it's a Pistard on there at the mo. However I want something more classic, so have an eye out for any NOS Campy Omega Stada Hardox Aero rims pop up anywhere, my favourites. But the rest of the build is Japanesey, so also contemplating Araya maybe. I don't want anything that breaks the bank, it would be overkill for how I'm going to use the bike.
Any thoughts on paint job and wheelset gratefully received

Sparkly Paint is definitely the way I'd go.
Don't know how keen I am on the white seat cluster, but I'm having trouble envisioning what you mean...
And definitely old style decals :)
Nice build! -

Need to make sure, rainbow sparkles and holographic decals?
-
• #86
Literally just the seat cluster lug white, the rest sparky black, with white decals
-
• #87
Ooh that would be Japanesey

• #88
So these decals but in white not yellow

Or holographic

I think those look cool because they're yellow with a black border - I worry that white on black might not pop quite as much as above
But the plan otherwise sounds great

Do have to say, think keeping it exclusively black and white is a mistake, and I own this.
I reckon have the logos in some cool colour like below (favourite njsy black bikes evar). Also take note of rainbow sprinkles - btw the italics I used were not denoted sarcasm, rather the fact I don't know if that's the right word.Sorry for photo spammage. Reckon pink would be best.

Haha didn't think it was sarcy, there's an NJS frame in CP which for the life of me I can't find now that has a very distinct rainbow sparkle black/grey and shiny, holographic decals which you made me think of, and I have being eyeing covetously, and also is inspiration for what I might do with the Razesa.
Fair play that does look good with the pink decals. It would look good with yellow too. So with all of that in mind I'm inclined to do two things: cycle the thing up to Argos and talk through some paint ideas and get a quote. Also, and I've been meaning to do this forever, email Razesa and see if they can tell me more about the frame and what the correct decals might be.
Armed with that sort of knowledge I can decide on what to do with it. Do like it in pink, very slave.

This is it currently, the mismatched wheels and tyres because a spoke broke and I haven't fixed it. I've also swapped out the Romin for a Selle Italia and swapped out the Jaguar stem for a longer 3TTT one and a different MTB bar.
Absolutely love this set-up and it rides like a dream, stiff and responsive. I popped it into Argos in Bristol to get a quote for the restore and they've given me one for £259 which includes fixing the ding in the top-tube, laquering any decals I source and a black Tange Falcom headset. The fitted Condor one remains smooth as butter but is also pretty battered. I was thinking Chris King, should I stick the Tange? Also now I'm on the verge of doing it I'm in two minds, it looks fucking brilliant at the moment, a king rat. But I also think the frame deserves some love and the sparkly black paint I'm planning should look incredible. Argos said 6-8 weeks which is a long time to be without your favourite bike but I have this frame to stand in:
Just need to cover it with lacquer. The one thing on the build I'd like to change would be to put a great wheelset on it. We will see.
The Bat I want to re-gear is this:
A Batavus Professional with 531 pro tubing. I bought it as a complete 6-speed bike but the freewheel went and IU wasn't enjoying the ride hugely so I ended up doing a hack conversion with bin parts, ending up like above, from what it was below:
So I was to re-gear it. I have a pair of Planet X 10/11 speed road wheels, and have these lined up:

Unless someone is going to talk me down and suggest something else. I also have a set of Campag cables for them. I need the cable stops for the downtube, stem and bars and most fundamentally a Campag 11 speed crankset, in black of course. For now I'll stick with the Shimano 600 brakes it came with. I'm not great with gears so would welcome advice on the best way to get this bike back to a set-up it deserves (and one which means I can attack some hills on my commute). Suggestions please.

Oh and here's the current build on my Guerciotti, the wheelset is great.

Lovely guerciotti!

The Guerciotti Record is apparently a re-badged Coppi. That orange paint job looks great but it is fragile as fuck, annoyingly. Looking at it now I'm wondering whether needs a black gruppo #neversatisfied

Just grabbed these off the bay:
Ordering a Nitto Noodle from Hubjub

Also ordered some cable stops. I ideally I'd like to swap out the seatpost for a black Nitto S65 and the white (very battered) Romin for a black one. May wait to do this. Does anyone have advise for re-covering a saddle? Wondering if I could get some black felt and cover it myself.
Right of the toe cages is bent and ones of the straps is worn through (as evidenced by the electrical tape) so I need new clips and straps. Any suggestions? The clips are MKS and the straps Exustar but I never seemed to get them right, if that makes sense (the pedals are NJS MKS RX-1s) would I be better off with a single strap? If so which one? NJS straps are funky, but I'm not spaffing a ton on straps. Good alternatives?
Or sigh spds
