Did a rather soggy Ride London, washed my bike and hung it up. Went to grab it today and one BB bearing is COMPLETELY seized. Won't move at all.

Have ordered replacements. Bit of a pain after 1,200 miles though. How long are you guys getting from BB30 bearings?

This is a Praxis BB30 to 24mm adapter...

All PF and outboard bearings hate being hung up wet. If they get a real soaking pull the cranks and dry them out then re-grease them.

FWIW typically get 2-3k miles on BB30 bearings.

Fair enough. Probably par for the course then. It's cost £15 for a set from Sigma so not outrageous. Hopefully it's not too hard to smoosh new bearings into this Praxis shell.
