About to start building this up- Entry level supersix evo from (?2014)
Anybody ridden one before - good or bad experience compared to the aluminium CAAD frames?

It will be great

Interesting, is your comment related to Cannondale only or other brand? Tbh I think the asymmetry is just a pain, I know the reason behind it but not sure it is worth it...especially for the end customer.

Cannondale. The old Synapse was the first to have the asymmetric 73mm BB30 shell. Now the Evo has it. The SuperX uses it and the AI offset rear end from the F-Si.
Cannondale just do things their way. The Hollowgram 109mm axle is built around it. You are supposed to use their crank ya know!

Any advice on the 'Dale warranty deal?
Friend of mine has a Supersix and the drop outs have worn - seems to be a common problem on the frame if you google. Cannondale say this was because of him using (allegedly) lightweight skewers. Seems like BS to me, but is there anything he can do? Any laws to quote etc.

Photo?
It looks like a problem if you let the hub's locknut spin and grind the dropout down. Which isn't really Cannondale's problem, but then, they'd do well to help your mate.
But they won't, because they aren't Specialized or Giant.

or trek or cervelo

Yeah them too. To be fair Cannondale are more customer friendly in the US where they aren't being run by distributors.

What wheels are these?

thanks!
@PhilDAS ashima ai2. Way better than kcnc razors while being in the same weight category. Those are somewhat adequate with hydraulics and road tyre grip.
@ShadeBoyy lightbicycle 55mm tubeless rims, aero comp spokes, novatec 411 412 straight pull hubs.

how are you finding tubeless on the lb rims? mine are also compatible but not sure I want to risk the high pressures (quite happy with tubeless on mtb although the rear loses air inbetween rides)

was a bit nervous pumping them up to 6-7 bars as, when tapping the rims with fingers, they feel and sound paper thin. But havent faced any issues. Two rounds of stans tape, stans liquid and the tyres set up without any issues first try with floorpump.
i usually put 6,5-7 bars in the rear and 6 in the front. Supple and rolls super well
ive heard that puncture with road pressure results in funny spray patterns of sealant but havent had the pleasure to experience that yet :-)

1.56" stem choice is limited, but pretty much all of them these days are, thank goodness, oversize.
I'd start with Cannondale - they are nice and not pricey.
Any dealer should be able to order them in for you.
Hope made them at some point, as did Thomson, but I don't think they make them any more.
Note - new Lefties without boots typically have the 1.5" steerer or the OPI (spits on floor) system. It's only old lefties and headshok forks that use the 1.56 setup.
It's also surprisingly simple to run a normal 1 1/8th stem with a Lefty using a different steerer from Project 321.

Thank you, much appreciated.
Pretty much all the carbon pressfit stuff from 2017 is asymmetric
